The Mission of the Pasadena Humane Society
The Pasadena Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in the community.
The Urgent Situation
The kitten’s condition was dire, with her leg badly injured and likely to require extensive surgery. The clock was ticking, and every minute counted. The team sprang into action, working tirelessly to stabilize the kitten and prepare her for the operation. The veterinarian performed a thorough examination, assessing the extent of the damage and determining the best course of action. The team worked to clean and stabilize the kitten’s wound, applying antibiotics and pain medication to prevent infection and alleviate suffering. Meanwhile, the shelter’s administrative team coordinated with local veterinarians to find a suitable surgeon and schedule the operation.
The Surgical Intervention
The kitten was rushed into the operating room, where the skilled surgeon worked to repair the damaged leg. The procedure was complex and delicate, requiring precision and care to ensure the kitten’s survival. The surgeon carefully reattached the leg, using advanced surgical techniques and materials to promote healing and minimize scarring. The team monitored the kitten’s vital signs closely, ensuring that she remained stable throughout the procedure.
