The Rescue Effort

The Forever Homes

Twenty-six dogs were rescued in total, but seven of them are currently in foster-to-adopt arrangements. These dogs are still receiving ongoing veterinary care and are being prepared for their forever homes. The foster-to-adopt arrangements are designed to provide the dogs with a temporary home while they complete their veterinary care. The arrangements allow the dogs to receive the necessary care and attention while also giving their new owners a chance to get to know them.

The good news is that heartworms can be treated with medication, and preventative measures can be taken to prevent further infections.

The Community Comes Together to Help the Dogs
